Born in 1962 in Brittany, France, I now live and work in Auray.
After an adolescence in the Paris area I discovered "the light of Arles" one hundred years after Vincent Van Gogh.
Always long periods in Brittany, close to the sea, including five years on the island of Belle-le.

The intimate relationship between this forceful nature, a lot of hard work and much time dedicated to painting - at first as a painter of "fauve" landscapes - I soon arrived at a kind of abstraction or "inner figuration". Today my work is increasingly moving towards a sort of asceticism, a constant wish to lay bare, to pare down, almost to the point of annihilation: to intervene as little as possible.
The importance of the void related to the gesture, the immaterial, isolation and solitude, breathing as well, meditation close to Zen. A search for purity - truth through simplicity.
Pure painting based on patient waiting, reflection, contemplation, descending into one's inner self; a message of peace, searching for serenity, not only for myself but also for other people. A sense of community and sharing, a life.

1962年　フランス・ブルターニュ　ポンティヴィ生まれ

現在、ブルターニュ　オーレー在住。　画歴30年、独学の画家。
2004〜2011年国際抽象画家協会の創設メンバーであり、会長。
欧米諸国に於いて個展多数。今回日本で初個展。

青年時代をパリで過ごし、帰郷後 “100年後の「アルルの光」(V.Gogh)” を見いだす。
以来、ベル・イル島での5年間を含む長い間、ブルターニュの美しい海を真近に生きる。

“ 自然と親密な関係を描く時、私は待ち、内省し、熟考する。
風景画は大切な要素のみに抽象化・単純化され、作業は禅のように深く瞑想しながら、
内なる真理・真実の姿を探索し、ひとつの表現に到達した ”
